Sabrina (1954)

Fall in love with Audrey Hepburn…her first movie, “Roman Holiday” made her a star, but “Sabrina” proved that she could become the biggest star of Hollywood–adorable, witty, and sexy!

FROM OVERLOOKED TO IN HIGH DEMAND

She was the gangly chauffeur’s daughter-a girl of little consequence amongst the Rich and privileged until a trip to France gives her tips on high class fashion and supreme confidence…when she comes back she turns heads and the big names show her some love interest.

THE CAST WAS NEVER BETTER

Humphrey Bogart was an old codger who ran the family business…he’s friendly but you get the impression that his friendship has some anterior motive.  William Holden is the playboy son who usually screws up everything and they try to keep as far from the family affairs as possible.  Both play unique ends of the spectrum in this enjoyable romantic comedy.

BILLY WILDER WRITER AND DIRECTOR

Billy Wilder is a genius, he could write an impeccable script and then direct the film to bring out the best in a movie.  Billy Wilder…he is one of the greatest.
